Enjoying a Small Town

Beacon, NY

Earlier this week I talked about visiting Beacon, NY to check out some modern art at Dia:Beacon. While I enjoy art, I enjoy beautiful small town architecture and charm even more, and this town has both in spades!

When I first arrived I made my way to Pandorica, a fully Doctor Who themed restaurant. This is a fun stop for “Whovians and non-Whovians alike”, and patrons are treated to both creative decor and good food. Don’t forget to add a truly english touch and order some tea.

Some other great stops to make in town include the Beacon Creamery for a milkshake and Dream in Plastic for interesting and unique gifts.

Overall I had a great time walking around this cute little town, and I hope you are inspired to take a weekend day-trip yourself. As always, please leave any questions or comments in the section below.

Keep exploring,

~V
