For quite some time I've been wanting to name my blog, but couldn't find something that really stuck with me. I love travel and I love photography, so I wanted something that worked with both of those.

One thing I love almost as much as travel itself is planning trips. From a quick daytime adventure to a multi-week trip, I love figuring out all of the details. This process usually involves some over-zealous usage of google docs, sheets, and maps.

A while ago a friend of mine was subject to my somewhat crazy process, you may have seen him hiding in this post a few times, and he came up with a word for my somewhat excessive, if thorough, itineraries.

This blog is a place for me to share my travel and photographic adventures with you, and in a way, to give you a guided tour of a place that I've had fun exploring. By following along, you are in effect following one of my crazy itineraries.

So, without further ado, welcome to the Victinerary, a place to discover travel through photography.
