Seattle, WA
Last week I went back in time to my March Seattle trip to talk about some great lakeside dining options, and I've previously talked about exploring the Capitol Hill and Downtown areas. For my final Seattle post I'm going to focus on the location where I spent my last morning: the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum. I had never heard of Dale Chihuly before, but oh boy is he one of my favorite artists after seeing this museum! I'll let the works speak for themselves, but the things this man can do with glass are nothing short of incredible.

While wandering outside I had a few double-take moments where I questioned if some the more delicate details were real or not...
Visiting this museum was definitely a highlight of my entire Seattle trip. I'd have to say my favorite neighborhood to explore was Capitol Hill, with all of the great bars and restaurants, but as a standalone activity (especially for the photographically inclined), the Chihuly museum was where I spent my favorite hours.
I hope this small glimpse into the wonders of this museum inspires you to visit yourself! Also, if you live in the New York City area, there is a current Chihuly exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden that I personally plan on attending in the upcoming weeks, so check that out if you're on the East Coast.
