Charleston Eats - September 2025

September Eats:

Here are all of the noteworthy places where I ate in Charleston, SC in September 2025.

Millers All Day - James Island

  • A Charleston classic for brunch, you can find locations downtown on King Street or on Maybank Highway in James Island. The whole family agreed it was delicious, and the service is always great.

  • Pro tip: if you have a small group (1-2, maybe 3) and there’s a long wait list, counter is first come first serve. So always check those counter seats!

Magnolia’s - Downtown Charleston

  • One of the places I tell everyone to visit if they’ve never been to Charleston to get an elevated low country meal, Magnolia’s never disappoints. I don’t even like tomatoes….. and yet I will always order the fried green ones. Trust me on this. They also always have a veggie friendly dish or two on the menu so it’s good for the whole family if you want to enjoy some classy Charleston dining.

All My Exes - Avondale, West Ashley

  • Cute female owned cocktail bar with a fun menu and great vibes. We had silent book club here this month and it was a hit!!

Monthly Wrap-Up at The Archer

If you’ve been around a while, you’ll know I love The Archer downtown on upper Meeting Street. Between the food, the ambiance, and the people, it’s my recent replacement haunt after the closing of Chasing Sage. You can usually find me at the bar enjoying dinner or dessert with a skillfully crafted cocktail. Here are a few of the delicious things I ate & drank there this month.
