January Eats:
Here are all of the noteworthy places where I ate in Charleston, SC in January 2026.
Here are 4 spots I’m loving in the Park Circle area of North Charleston:
EVO Bakery for great pastries and they have a lovely little outdoor patio
Odd Duck Market for lunch (this is a vegan breakfast sandwich!) + a cute spot to set up a laptop for an hour or two
They also have a location in Summerville!
Stems & Skins for an amazing wine and cocktail selection
Dashi for great Asian x Latin fusion food and fun trivia every week. I got a tiny bottle of sake recently and they gave me the most hilariously sized ice bucket for it.
Monthly Wrap-Up at The Archer
If you’ve been around a while, you’ll know I love The Archer downtown on upper Meeting Street. Between the food, the ambiance, and the people, it’s my recent replacement haunt after the closing of Chasing Sage. You can usually find me at the bar enjoying dinner or dessert with a skillfully crafted cocktail. Here are a few of the delicious things I ate & drank there this month.
